It is with deep sadness that the members of the North Coast Fossil Club mourn the passing of longtime member Bill Krumhansl. Bill passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2009.
Bill was the beloved husband of Mary Ellen for 53 years.
Members will fondly remember how Bill and his daughter Beth worked unselfishly to provide hot coffee and pastry at  the monthly NCFC meetings for countless years. Bill and Beth were always involved in providing for others such as planning for the fossil club social events and cooking the food at the annual picnics.
Bill was born and raised in Garfield Heights, Ohio and graduated from Garfield Heights High School in 1950. He served his country by serving in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954. Bill worked as an inspector for the Cleveland Health Department for 28 years from 1957 to 1985.
Bill was first a "Rock Hound" who later became interested in fossils. He joined the NCFC in 1991.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cleveland Clinic Hospice, 9555 Rockside Road, Suite #300, Valley View, 44125 or the American Lung Association, 226 Street, Route 61, Norwalk, 44857.
